LASER (Light Application by Stimulated Emission of Radiation)
is a light application with radiation emission stimulation and is a non-invasive therapeutic device that emits energy in the infrared spectrum to provide local stimulation of biological tissue. Tissue stimulation causes a local acceleration of healing, an increase in metabolism and an analgesic response.
The generated power is about 30-50 times higher than the usual laser treatment and in particular it can penetrate to an unlimited depth.

How it works on the body:
- Strengthening microcirculation,
- Activation of the melzack gate control mechanism – inhibition of pain perception,
- Increased intracellular activity of many enzymes, particularly in the Krebs cycle,
- Increased oxygen circulation, improved glucose utilization,
- Stimulation of DNA synthesis (via phytohaemagglutinin stimulation),
- Increased fibroblast activity (in celluloid scars, these activated fibroblasts are able to deposit fibrous connective tissue),
- Activation of phagocytosis,
- Activation of the Na/K pump in the membrane,
- Activation of metabolic processes in the cell: partly through the Na/K reaction and Ca transport, partly through direct activation of the mitochondrial system,
- Changes in local level of important mediators – inflammatory (histamine substances, prostaglandins) or eg endorphins.
